Spring Break Day 6

We went to the Denver Art Museum, or the DAM.
We planned on going this trip and then Wednesday they announced that Kids are free for the next 5 years!?!?! Wha???? Yep, it is true!

The kids went over to the broom and dustpan, and then we read the sign not to climb on it...oops.

There, that's better.

That reminds me of the last time we were here... HERE 2012 that was when my hair was SO LONG!

There weren't that many people there,so the kids had free reign over most of the exhibits.

The kids enjoyed  walking over the street.

After the museum, we grabbed some lunch and headed to the Jessica Ridgeway Memorial Park

We went back to grandmas for a little rest. Mason needed it!

Then we picked up Nathan from work and headed to RocketFizz

Which is of course in Downtown City.

Then off to see Uncle Ben in his new food truck!

And of course we had to eat!

After dinner,we came home for some BlueBell Ice Cream (not in idaho) and learned a few knots.

Nathan and Gary and I watched The Fault in our Stars and cried our eyes out. Haha
Another fun day!

Spring Break Day 5

The kids woke up to heavy rain and wind during the night.

When they woke up, it was still raining and then, out of nowhere - SNOW!

So, w headed over to Veronica's at 1 and stayed the entire day there. The kids had a great time playing with their cousins. It was like no time had passed.

And, in true Colorado form, the sun came out and melted all that snow.

We had nachos, and had the best time "hanging out"
 I made brownie cookies

Then it was time to say goodbye. The kids were really sad. Scarlett cried because she missed Emma and then Sydney, and then her friends in Idaho.

 In order on the couch:

Juliet 4, Bridget 7.5, Sydney 4.5, Scarlett 6, Elijah 7, Mason 3, Lucas 8.5, Noah 9.

Spring Break Day 4

Yesterday when we were at Build a Bear, Scarlett wanted to use her gift cards on her best friend bears with Emma. So, When we met up with Emma and her mom and sisters, she was suprised to see that Emma, bought her a Bestie shirt!

So, their bears matched and they matched!
We were at the Library for almost 3 hours, and these two loved being together.

Then we drove through our old neighborhood (because the library is in our subdivision) and ran into a few other friends.
Lucas and his bud, Ryan

We also met up with our neighbor friends.

After, we went back to grandmas for lunch and then headed out to pick Nathan up and went to Ben and Danielle's for dinner.

Maxton and Mason

Then, because my kids are ... kids. Ben and Danielle suggested we go to the neighborhood park.

The kids enjoyed nighttime park fun.

Spring Break Day 3

First thing this morning we went to Colorado Mills. We had a few reasons to go.
Scarlett needed a replacement treasure. Shortly after she got her, (last March), she "frowed up" all over her. So, we got her and a couple new outfits.
There is another reason we went to Build-A-Bear, but I will get into that tomorrow.

 Next, was the Lego Store.
Lucas has saved for a few sets, and wanted to see them in person before he bought them.

Then a suprise ride on a carousel.

Then Garbanzo's (greek) for lunch.

Then I snapped this beautiful picture of my blue eyed babe.

After our Colorado Mills experience, we met Uncle Chris and almost Aunt Kelley at Boondocks.

Nathan watched the little kids in the jungle gym/kid zone, and the older 3 went outside for some driving fun.

The kids absolutely loved this, and while Chris and Kelley and Scarlett were in the big cars, Lucas and Bridget were cheering so crazily that the other drivers were laughing.

Then,we went back in to play more games.

We love Uncle Chris and almost Aunt Kelley so much! We can't wait to come back in July for their wedding! Nathan and I think they are a lot like us, so we are extra happy about this particular union. Hehehe.
