Time for good-byes...

It was a sad day today. We had to pack up and go. The kids napped and were anxious but didn't know why. We got to the airport and no tears were shed...until we got home at 11:30pm...Lucas cried for grandpa. He was so sad.
They both stayed awake for the entire flight. Lucas colored and played with some new things I had brought. He loved looking out the window, and kept asking if we were in "Denber" yet.

What I came home to well, I don't want to talk about it. Let's just say that Hazmat had to come to my house, and not because it was a mess when I left it...

I know the kids will miss "nama" and "dampa" and I will miss my vacation! :) I think I am going to write a book on how to travel with young children, because there are a few things I would do differently and some things I was praised on by other passengers of the airplane. If anyone has any questions on how to travel with small children let me know. I have learned a lot! Now I must prepare for the single mother life as my husband will be in Richmond, VA for this entire week. Booo!

  2. Here we are visiting because Noah wanted to see "Val's blog" although he was sad there wasn't any music. He wanted to know who was holding Lucas and Bridget and when I told him Mr. Phil and Joyce he said "I don't think so."
