A bit of School Stuff

Bridget was so excited to have B at school. Lucas had to wait FOREVER to get W when he was in Kindergarten. She brought Blueberries for snack and filled her B bag with:
Ballet Shoes, Bubbles, Bike, Bun in a Bag, Baby, Battery, Buster Bunny, Bat, Band-aid, Brothers, and Baby Bridget. she wore a braid and barrettes and a bun in her hair.

That night was the schools Summer Reading Program Reward Sleep Over. Last year Lucas and Mason got matching jammies. Bridget earned the sleepover this year too, so everyone got matching jammies.
We had to wait to feed the kids because Lucas and Bridget had dinner at the school. We normally eat dinner at 5:30 sharp, but the sleepover set dinner at 6:30 so we let the kids jump in the backyard while we waited.

The kids had a great time. Bridget was especially excited because her teacher spent the night too!

Pet Store Visit

We try to go to the pet store every year. Not because we will EVER get a pet, but because the kids have such a great time. Mason and Juliet were in heaven. We went on a Tuesday during Colorado's crazy rain/flood weather because Lucas's baseball practice was cancelled.

We spent too much time there and decided to go to Chili's for dinner.
It was such a fun day (for them) and helped break up the "you can't go outside" for the 4th day in a row.

Family Fun(d) Night part 2

I thought I had a lot more pictures, but we had so much fun, I guess I didn't really take as many as I thought.

Here is Bridget and her teacher.

My kids teaching the world a dance lesson.

There were 2 bouncy things, a dunk tank, and several other fun stations to enjoy.
There was face painting, and we skipped that, because of me.

Even the parents could go in, Nathan enjoyed that.

 and look! Robert was there!

Scarlett is fuming mad at me that there is no picture of her and Emma, her very best friend.
I am going to have to arrange that somehow. If only I could remember -  when I talk to her mother, every other day. Doh!

Family Fun(d) Night! (part 1)

Every year this activity at the school gets better and better. This time they did field day first, and then had a carnival at the end. Our school does this instead of selling wrapping paper and cookie dough and other crap stuff.

So, on to the games!

There were several new games this year!
Juliet was asking : "Whens it my turn?"

Even the principal got in on the action! Lucas was so excited.

Juliet and Nathan were doing so well! Nathan even went down the strip on his knees.

Mason was wandering around most of the time. He is crazy.

Juliet was diggin for rubies while she waited for her turn...

3 legged race, or in this case, 5 legged. :)

Mason had a blast!

They had dinner there, but we opted to pack our own.
This picture below is why people ask us if Jules and Mace are twins...
They both have been making this weird face as of late...
I think Juliet looks like Veda Sultanfuss...in this picture.

After the Field Day, there was the carnival. I will post that tomorrow!
