Tuesday with Stephanie!

We decided to take some pictures of the kids between rain storms. We got a few good ones!

I need to add that it was cold and windy and rainy.
But we got some cute pictures.

It helps that we had cute subjects!

The oldest and the youngest Great Grand kid!

Here are all of the 2011 kids!

 Dec - Mason
Feb - Juliet
May - Philip

Then on the way to the car the girls just whipped this pose.

Monday with Steph!

First, we went to the park.

Then we went to the Museum!

The kids had a great time!

The older 3 got to be on their own, and the rest of us were with the younger 4.

After the museum, we went to Little Man Ice Cream.

Salted Oreo, Oatmeal Cookie, Chocolate, Watermelon, Salted PBCup, 16th Street Chocolate, and Butterscotch.  YUM!

The kids had a great day!

We left just before the rush...

We drove home in the hail, and then had a Horn family favorite (long samwich)

Sunday with Steph

Nathan and I both had talks today! Sister B, announced that this weekend was WOW (weekend of witte) Lucas wanted to go to church to be announced as the newest member of the ward, and hear primary make a fuss about being baptized. Then our talks, and it just felt like we were "in the news" a lot this weekend.

Anyway, Auntie Steph painted all of the girls toes and fingers. I need to add that I do not and will not paint their nails, but Auntie Steph can.

They loved this.

They are still talking about it today.

I also reaped the benefits of Stephanie being here. French Braiding for Bridget AND ME!

It was a nice night, and we had a great dinner and spent the evening staying up late and talking.
 It was so nice.
We are even getting along!
For now.

Other randoms from the weekend:

Nathan split his pants AT the baptism.

The kids pretty much LOVE baby THEO.

how can you not?

Phil and Juliet are the best little friends,  "Macey" and Phil are friends too!

Tomorrow, I will post about our CRAZY Monday!

A Baptism!

Today was a big day for this boy:

Today was the day that Lucas was baptized!

It was a great day! All of his classmates (minus 1) were there, and some surprise guests came too!
He was so excited to get baptized, and I didn't torture him by giving a super long baptism talk.
(I spoke because I am the CTR 7 teacher AND his mom)

Phil and Theo and Auntie Steph were there too!

It was a fun day, and the party afterwards was even more fun!

Noah explaining something on Lucas's new kindle.
We had a Mexican fiesta. Build your own nachos/soft tacos.
I made Sopapilla Cheesecake (Lucas's request)

We had lots of laughs and then my Witte's tried out a pinata for the first time.

Then it was present time. Lucas's theme it seemed was sports related.
Here is his super favorite thing right now!

He loved everything about today.
I am so happy for this kid, and I am happy to have a fun week with my
sister now that all of this hoopla is over.

Whew!
