Juliet Birthday Wrap Up

This girl is just always so happy. She is my most agreeable child, and is so easy to love.

She is always laughing or dancing, it really is adorable.
She loves dance class, and even though she never follows miss Lindsey, she tells everyone Thursday is her favorite day of the week.

Her birthday is right after Valentines, so finding heart shaped donuts is easy.

She is most like Bridget in personality. Luckily she isn't as hard as Bridget.
I can't say I don't love those over the top reactions.

She had a great birthday, and party, and was just so happy and thankful the entire day!
We took her to Red Robin for Dinner.
She loved the serenade AND the sundae.

The next day, she had her 4 year check up. She had to get shots and took it like a champ.

I love this girl so much!

Juliet the 1st!

Jules was so excited to have a friend party. She couldn't have one last year because we went to the cabin. It worked out last year because everyone her age was a boy. Since we moved, she is surrounded by pretty little girls, all with big blue eyes. Haha.

She wanted a Sofia party. She absolutely loves Sofia the First.
It is a cute show, and worked out to do a character party because I am tired.

It was easy to find, and easy to do.
She had 3 little friends come and the first thing we played was Sofia memory.

Then we painted jewelry boxes. The boys painted birdhouses.
 Look at these eyes!

We played a fun balloon game.

Then we made necklaces.
This was a hit!

Jules wanted to have some princess tests.
and how to sit on horse.
We did freeze dance, and then presents.

Nothing fancy, just a ring pop and a stamp.

She and Bridget give the best reactions to things.

After all the hoopla, we had tea sandwiches, grapes, and her special cake.
She asked for a 4 layer pink cake with purple frosting!

It was a great 90 minute party.
Perfect for a heap of 3 and 4 year olds!

Blue and Gold - Sports Themed

I have never been to a blue and gold banquet.

I did a Sports Theme, and related it to the Positive Attitude Value.
I made Sliders, and Hot Dogs, and did concession themed food.
It was pretty cute.

The centerpieces were simple, and easy. Boys don't need fluff.

I had all of the games we were playing on the food table wall.
Lucas earned a basketball segment, his Wolf, 5 Arrow Points, and The council Scout Month Patch.
Let's take a look at that:
There were certain requirements each boy had to do in order to receive this.
All 37 of my boys earned this patch. I am so proud.
You read that right, we have 37 cubs TOTAL in my pack.
We aren't combined, we aren't a super pack, this is all one ward. *sigh*

We ate first. I had 115 people to serve.
 We did awards, then games.
This was called Equipment Tree Relay.
There was one "tree" and then each time a person ran up, they would have to add it to the tree.

The kids LOVED this. We played it 2x and I think they would have loved to have kept going.

The next game we played was Football Fumble.

Then we did Basketball Drill Relay.

The theme was Cheer/Positive Attitude.
Instead of playing a serious game of basketball, or an intense game of football, we used sports equipment in a different way to keep things fun, and light.
The kids had an excellent time, and everyone participated.

We also had no leftovers.
SCORE!

I think this activity went really well, minus me losing my "talk" and having to wing it.
There are a few things I would do differently next time, but that is to be expected with any major activity. Hahaha.
