Good things (Raising Canes) comes to those who wait...

I suppose I have learned to be an (EXTREMELY) patient Elder, who does not complain. Mostly because my prayers have been remarkably answered (read the title) and because I know I have friends in some much crazier, much more dangerous missions and places...so I'm just not going to complain because there is a Jersey Mike's down the road.

Going from one of the most effective and well run Spanish areas in my mission to whitewash/opening a new area has been difficult. Mainly because I can't run things the way I want, and I have to think not just of my Companion but think of how my Trainee feels, behaves, and acts. There's been some training this last week which has been good and a lot about the covenants we make.

God loves us infinitely, when we make covenants we bind ourselves and through spiritual adoption and brotherhood we grow to be more bonded and more loved, infinity plus one is still infinity, but more (or something idk it made sense in Spanish), so -  I invite you all this week to look and see how you can rebind yourselves more and re-unlock more of those potential blessings and infinite love!!

Love you all!!
Sincerely,
Elder Lucas Witte

I LOVE my trainee, he is the best, and of course we went and got some Pan Dulce in there right after this :)

Noche de futbol has been lit and a half!!  My previous companion is in the yellow stripes.

Hey Everyone! Meet Elder Laycock :)

 SO I GUESS I'M TRAINING???:

[External Email] [Insert epic "bar" for title]

This week was pretty chill, nothing crazy happened other than interviews...

INTERVIEWS:
Normally our Mission President interviews are super crazy and super fun, lots of doctrine but nothing exciting really happened, we just talked about this last transfer and what I learned, I highkey learned SO much about myself, and about being a good missionary... Unfortunately, President Mann didn't look like he was having ANY of it, he gave me NO advice for the future, or any clue on how I could do better, it was really weird considering he told both my companions where they were going and who they were going to be with...

PERSONAL STUDY W:
This week I studied a lot in the love and charity attributes of Christ, and cross referencing with this awesome book our Mission President gave us which is basically the topical guide on paper so we can take notes, and basically all the scriptures say to gain charity which is the PUREST form of Jesus' love is to intently pray for it, and that's super easy! So I'm going to try to do that next week and I'll get back to you folks because there is a high percent chance that I misinterpreted something.

Sincerely,
Elder Lucas Witte
