SO I GUESS I'M TRAINING???:
Transfers happened, and how it works here is you get in a van with your bags, and the van drives in a circle picking up and dropping people off, and no one knows where they are going until they get there, everyone gets out, and your name gets announced. My name never got called. We ended up at the mission office with some other elders and sisters and that's where we were told we were training???
Me and Elder Laycock!!
ABOUT THE TRAINEE!!!:
I picked up Elder Laycock from the mission office and we grinded the streets for the night, here's a little more about him:
-He is from Canada
-Yes he says "hey" all the time... even in spanish
-His family loved doing road trips just like my family.
-Yes. Of course we americanized him his first night with a 1290 calorie peanut butter bacon burgers that cost a million dollars.
SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:
This week I had to swallow a lot of words, and remember that I was once in his place, the number one thing I boiled it down to is serving a mission is a very refined task, being clumsy with your language, time management, or studies is the easiest way to not be successful, the LITTLE things matter, and "ounces make kilos bro" - (I forgot), 1 Nefi 29 "And thus we see that by small means the Lord can bring about great things"
WE ON THE GRIND SEE YALL NEXT WEEK
Sincerely,
Elder Lucas Witte
Me and Elder Laycock!!
