Scrappy Scar

This little girl is something else. She usually looks GREAT in the morning and then...

...she naps. And when she naps, she naps HARD.

Here she is AFTER Preschool Pickup:
 Scarlett can ride the trike faster than anyone ever could.
 She never wants help with anything. Often you hear her say "No! All MySelf!"
 She is the scavenger of the family.  I often find her trying to bust open the #10 cans in the basement to get a snack. Haha.  One time I watched her pound an entire handful of dehydrated refried beans without blinking an eye.  She is the most inventive and eager girl in the house, and is willing to give ANYONE a run for their money.  But then at times she is so sweet and expressive and huggable - it truly is remarkable how different she is than her sisters.

I have been thinking about her a lot because this time last year she was ONLY 18 MONTHS
A ton has changed since then.

This little cutie came into our lives...

and so much more.

I love my little tom-boy, rough around the edges, but likes skirts kinda girl named Scarlett.
Her name was ALMOST Lindsey but you know what? Scarlett fits her WAY better!

In totally unrelated news Lucas drew this today outside ALL by himself.
I will name all the PLANETS for you:
VINS = Venus
MRS = Mars
JUPTR = Jupiter
ERF = Earth
NEPJIN (pronounced Nepjune) = Neptune

Awesome huh?

  1. You have such a way describing your children just as they are. I can totally see them and picture them in my head.

    Lucas's picture is AWESOME!
