THE DAY WE HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR

Nathan graduated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think I have expressed HOW excited I am!

Wait - What? He is DONE?

No more late nights?

No more papers?

Nope!!!!!

The kids were THRILLED!

Nathan's parents watched the kids so I could enjoy the graduation.

It would have been tough sitting there with 5 kids for over 4 hours.

Here is my handsome hubs.

 I can't even express how proud I am of this guy. It all stemmed from his unemployment January of 2010. Six months of no job really puts you in a different mind set. Nathan vowed that he would never let that happen to us again, and decided he needed to be in control of his life. So, the day he enrolled in school, and the day we left for Stephanie's wedding, he got the job and things haven't been the same since.

He was on the accelerated track, so instead of going typical semesters, he busted his butt and he KILLED it! He graduated 6th in his department, and only got 1 B. 2 degrees, 17 certificates, and he worked full time, had a wife on bedrest, added 2 kids to the family, and he did it all in 3.5 years. 

It was hard to not be emotional during the ceremony.

I just love him so much, and he never thought he could go to college. Let alone be so successful at it!

I explained this all to the children and they were all crying before bed.

The best part of the day is going out to lunch on a date without kids, and enjoying our time together.

I feel like a huge weight has been lifted and it is time to move on!
