Ok, so basically all the Spanish Missionaries in the mission used to/(still do) have hilarious white names so it became tradition for all the new missionaries to get a nickname, and my new companions realized that I still don't have one so while asking around saying "what or who does he look like?" a person said Kodak Black. 😵 I wish I was making this up, like what the heck?? But it's simply not possible, we laughed so hard and for so long that the next movie turned on and it was Hotel Transylvania, and because I look like the dude, (idk his name) and they didn't know it either, so they now call me Vampiro! Or vampire and I don't know how I feel about such a thing but oh well.
-This week was SO HYPE because of an exchange I had, and so many things started clicking...it was a freezing night and I was with a first transfer brand spanking new English Elder that (in the nicest way possible to him (and to me))... REALLY needs almost as much work as I needed when I first came in.
I laid everything out and realized it wasn't as cold as I was working harder, and he was FREEZING and shivering, and it was insightful as I became less selfish and gave him chances to fail and succeed--he wasn't so cold and we finished so strong. It was a good reminder to let others try instead of just telling them what to do.
As a trainee I struggled a lot because my companion was doing 100% of the work, I was freezing and "an idle mind is the devil's playhouse" or something like that (I'm forgetting english analogies-I apologize if I just messed that up) but, as I've asked for more and done more, responsibility wise, and literal workload wise, I have actually been FEELING like a missionary, and it's been so good. A welcome change to the past 12 weeks.

Finally made it to the temple! It was downpouring rain so this is the only pic I got. The Portland Temple is incredible.
Welp, we finally did one. A companionship council, where we found out we are the perfect trio with 0 beef/issues!... so far
