Easter Fun, day 1

What a day! First, it started with the Ward Egg Hunt.
I took a quick picture of everyone before we left.

And with 5 kids, there are always some funny pictures.

Anyway, we made it to the egg hunt, and my kids shouted "bunnicula!"

 Get it?
After the activity started, the kids bolted to the fields.

The kids had fun with their old pals.
Robert, Lucas, Bridget and Larke pushing.

Mason and his best bud, Emmett.

S and her best friend E.

After food, we headed to the dealership to get my van back. 3 weeks is TOO long to not have a car!

Then we came home and decorated cookies and eggs.

It was a busy day, and I imagine tomorrow will be just as busy!
I love Easter Activities.

Piano Recital

Lucas had his second recital on Saturday. He was nervous because his songs were switched, and he was worried that he wouldn't memorize the songs in time. His teacher bet him a dollar that he could and would be able to memorize the songs, and sure enough he did it!

After his performance, he whispered in his teachers ear "you owe me a dollar" and she giggled and told everyone about the bet. It was cute.

My favorite part about the recital, was after Lucas's first song, he looked right at me and smiled so big, and then started the next song. What a sweetie.

I love this boy so much!

I tried to stay offline all day and hang with the kids because it was a beautiful day outside, and because they didn't have school. I have had a headache for 9 days and the kids were not trying to be horrible, but, I had a headache and broke down for a New York Minute. Then, Nathan got home and I was able to enjoy my day just a little bit better. LOL.

While I was making dinner, the girls read to each other, with voices and all.

My tulips decided today would be a great day to bloom.

I made my Lemon Bundt or "buundt" if you ask Bridget.

While I was assembling the pizzas Mason had a meltdown.

I was able to get him out of it quickly.

Then the pizzas were done. We had Steakhouse Pizza, Giant Pepperoni Pizza and a
Spanish Style Veggie Pizza.

I iced my cake, and then we couldn't wait any longer. We inhaled it!

The kids went to bed without complaint, and Nathan finished his tests and we watched Saving Mr. Banks.
Loved it. :)

Today (Saturday) Nathan took the kids on a 2.5 hour bike ride and I got some quiet crafting time! BEST.PRESENT.EVER!

Thirty Two-it is a little weird to be 32, but I am glad about where my life has taken me and all that I have accomplished! I feel like I am in a new phase of my life and think the next 10 years are going to be even more fun! I mean 10 years ago I didn't even like Nathan (romantically, personally, LOL) and now he is like my other half! CRAZY how that happens.

Music Sharing Day and New Specs

Today was Music Sharing day at school. Lucas was very excited to go, and we decided that Juliet would love going as well.
Lucas was so happy we came.
They did a play version of Rikki Tikki Tembo, one of my FAVORITE books as a child.

Jules LOVED it!

Then the audience was asked to participate...

This picture makes me smile so much! Lucas is a great brother.
Then they played this game and Juliet was picked to be behind the board. No one could figure out who she was...
She LOVED this. Lucas did too!

Above is a little clip of the play.

Then we came home, and went on with our day and then we got a call that Bridget's reading glasses arrived.
She was freaking out during dinner, she wanted to make it there before they closed.

 *****

Bridget picked these out all on her own.

The prescription isn't very strong (like mine is, yikes!) and she only needs them for reading.
She is very worried about her eyelashes touching the glass. haha.
