Love and Snow

I LOVE when they predict 20 inches and we get 12.

I LOVE that as soon as my kids hear Nathan getting his snow boots on they can't wait to go out with him.

I LOVE that the children get so excited they don't even put the proper clothes or winter gear on to go outside...
(she is crying because she can't find the other glove so she has one hand in her pocket, and mad that her legs are cold because she is wearing Lucas's jammies instead of snow pants...)

I LOVE that every one of my kids have a willingness to help...
Including Scarlett
I LOVE that now matter how cold they get they still want to play in the SNOW.
I LOVE this girl and her version of the Cory Face.
I LOVE that Nathan will stop what he is doing to hold Scarlett because she just needs a "ugggie" (huggie)
I LOVE that while all of this was happening I could work on some of my Easter crafts.
Marshmallow Peep Bunting...so CUTE!

I LOVE that Nathan always takes time out for some fun.
But what I LOVE most about our SNOW is that at 3pm this is what it looked like...
It was almost ALL melted (minus the huge pile on the grass! Look at the street people!

  1. Man! I miss Colorado! I love that it can melt that fast. We are never that blessed here. The same snow stays all winter long and the grass grows mold underneath it so my kids can't even play on it for a month after the snow melts or they break out in hives!
