Ward Easter Egg Hunt

Today was the Ward Easter Egg Hunt, and usually the Activities Committee usually does a craft or a special treat and the Primary hosts the hunt.  We are a team like that! Well, this year since Conference Weekend runs right on Easter Sunday I decided that the Activities Committee was going to present an Easter Lesson. So I taught the lesson on Christ's life with Easter Eggs...it was rushed but the older kids liked it.  I really liked setting it up too.
(this is only 1/4 of the primary)
I am glad we did this because it gave time to those who usually come late and gave everyone an opportunity to start at the same time.  Once my lesson was over we had 5 and under go first and then the rest go ahead.  Every kid was able to collect 15 eggs! Isn't that great?
My kids had an especially great time because Lucas was able to hang with the older kids...his favorite thing to do...Bridget was such a social butterfly and gave hugs and said hello to everyone she knew...and Scarlett mastered the art of unwrapping foiled candy.
Lucas looking like a big boy!
I just love this girl!
Bridget and Keegan
They are so funny together!
Cadence (Keegen's not so little sister) and Scarlett.
Scarlett could stay out of Cadence's car seat...it was like a new toy to her! :)
It was a fun day. On the way home Lucas asked me if Easter was over and I assured him that there were no funeral potatoes yet so Easter hasn't come yet! :)

  1. Our Ward has an activity every month, but nothing for Easter. So sad really.
Your girls look so cute in their outfits! Where did you get them?

  2. Mmmmm.... funeral potatoes! Yum-o! I've mastered that one, myself. Those are super cute pics of your kids - I'm sure you know that, though.

  3. Anna had such a great time. She loved being able to open an egg during your lesson.

At the end when we had to give the eggs back she thought she had to give her candy back too. The funny part is she was okay with it because the hunt was so fun. You should have seen her face when I told she got to keep the candy!

Will you email me any pictures you got of my kids? Thanks!
