Easter Weekend part 1

So on Saturday between sessions we decorated...cookies and eggs.  The kids remembered from last year that we "pasted"cookies so we had to do it again this year. Luckily I was planning on making sugar cookies anyway because I like to make them so much!

So we started with the cookies...

This is serious business in this house.

There is almost no talking while the kids are "pasting" the cookies.

There is however, a lot of cookie eating!

Scarlett is getting very good at the bitter beer face! Hahaha.

C is for cookie that's good enough for me! Yum Yum Yum.

I have plenty of cookie monsters here.

Now its time for Eggs.

There are two types of egg dyers...

1- Gentle and patient

or 

2 - Bridget!

She was cackling the entire time.  

She broke 4 eggs and her fingers were covered in dye by the end of the night!

Lucas and Scarlett dyed together and he explained everything to her.

Lucas's side was so neat and clean and Bridget's side was a DISASTER!

Then we painted with glitter paint.

I wish I got a picture of Bridget's hands because they were a lot prettier than her eggs.

So the final count was

Lucas 12 eggs

Bridget 5 eggs

Scarlett 2 eggs

Trash Can of Broken Eggs 5 eggs - Bridget was the culprit!
