Easter Weekend part 2

Well we woke up and I made German Pancakes.
They were delicious! Bridget ate 3!
Then it was time to get dressed. We had a lesson about what Easter is about, and the kids LOVED it! Then we had to check if Mrs. Bunnyfingers (our street's bunny) left eggs for the kids to decorate.  (My kids named her) We say hello to her every morning. So of course I needed a picture of the kiddos before I let them "hunt"
Bridget is modeling here.
Did I mention how much I love these kids?
Scarlett totally knew what to do!
It was a gorgeous day and the kids loved the sunshine!
I wish I had taken this picture from another angle so you could see Lucas and Bridget.  They are so much the same in so many ways like how they hunt for instance.
Lucas was finished.  I made him count each egg.
Pretty Bridgey!
Scarlett didn't miss a single one!
I tried to get them all together one last time.  I love this picture so much.
Again, Bridget is modeling!
This one is better.  I don't know if I have ever mentioned this but the girls ADORE Lucas.
We came inside to eat a quick treat and then we had to see who collected the dyed eggs.  Whoever gets one gets a special prize.
They each found one!
While I was opening Lucas's prize I spotted Bridget sneaking another egg.  I also saw that a lot of eggs were already opened!  That little stinker snuck some chocolate while we were outside!
Lucas was so happy about his prize.  He kept yelling "Go Nuggets!"
Scarlett opened an egg and realized there was some fun inside!
As you can see she takes after Bridget in the self control department!
Just as all the excitement came to an end, we pulled out some story of Easter books and got ready to watch the 1st Session or is it 3rd Session of Conference when the doorbell rang...
A special delivery just for us!
Scarlett was so happy with her present! The kids grabbed their animals and balloons and then DEVOURED the candy! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Horn!
Then the kids noticed the flowers and thought they were for them
. I was quick to tell them that they were for me...
Lucas said "It must be because you are the mommy!"
I said I don't know, they are from Grandma and Grandpa and
Lucas said
"Oh they must have known that you don't like candy!"
Bridget then said "Nope its because gampa and gamma miss you...and me"

So that must be it! Either way they were pretty and smelled really nice!

After the last session we went to the Witte's for dinner, where Scarlett loved the dog and Lucas and Bridget loved their Uncles.  We had a fun time with the Witte's too!
