Ward Grinch Party

Our ward had a Grinch themed party.
Each kid had to write something in a heart that would make their heart grow another size.

Since Primary performed 2 numbers they asked for "Grinch" hair. I didn't know how grinchie they were asking so we did a something cute...not to crazy.

The Bishop read a nice story to the primary.
They had games, and while the kids were playing - we had tithing settlement.
The entire ward did tithing settlement in one day!
Then, the kids had to sing to get Santa on stage.

 It was adorable.

Juliet had a tender moment with Santa.

Mason asked Santa for Lucas's toys.
And a wacecar.

It was so fun, and we got to know our ward a little bit better. We are still loving it here. Yesterday we went to an adult Christmas party and found an awesome babysitter who the kids love. We have really enjoyed the vibe and friends of our area. It has been a great transition.

Happy Christmas Parties!

Another Year

How did we get here so fast? Every time I look at these pictures, I sniffle a little.

We are so blessed to have these 2 babies in our lives. I love them so much!

Done smiling (above)

Mason is 3! Yes 3!

Mason is 3 (tomorrow) We celebrated today to kick off our December!
3 Donuts, 3 candles,

Paw Patrol is the best show ever. Puppies and Community Helpers? Yes please! Lucas would have loved this show if it was onwhen he was little.

Auntie Steph knew just what to get. "3 cars cause I'm 3!"

Finally, the whole gang!

He asked for a hoop and bassaball.
So Grandma Witte picked an adjustable height, over the door hoop.

For dinner he asked for Meat. Meat? Yep, Meatballs.
I just love this kid to death. He is such a handsome and carefree boy. More on him tomorrow.

Spring Break Fun (again)

Today started out with eye appointments for Bridget and Mason.
They were excellent, and Mason's eyes look great.
his retinas are looking clear and good for a preemie.
Bridget has a problem with one eye, and has a prescription only on that side (Just like her mama)
her new glasses should come next week and the eye patches fixed her strabismus, and now she needs the glasses to strengthen that eye. It is a minimal corrective lense, so she should only need them a year or so!

After that, we went to the park for lunch. It was a beautiful day.

Then we came home and rode bikes.

Climbed trees, and waited for Nathan to came home.
Juliet is wearing Bridget's FAVORITE shirt when she was this age. Bridget is wearing her new favorite shirt. They loved that they were both brown and matching.

I can't say it enough. Our days are so chill now. I feel so lucky.

Banging in the New Year!

It wouldn't be a new year without our pots and pans a slamming at 7am.

It was funny because the neighbor kids were peeking out the window watching my itty bitty Wittes making terrible noise in the snow.

In case anyone was wondering...Mason enjoyed himself.

In all fairness, it was snowing and 20ish degrees.

There is my handsome boy.

Then we took a happy new year picture.

Then we fed the kids waffles and sparkling cider. Cheered each other and then went about our day.

After picking up our high tech washer and dryer we took the kids out to a new cuisine.
Another favorite tradition!

This year: Vietnamese Pho!

Some kids were nervous about the unknown.

 Spring Rolls

SO SO SO GOOD.

 Hi-ya!

 Vietnamese Egg Rolls, wow!

Pork Rice Bowl, and 3 different Pho Noodle Bowls.

The waiter asked us how old my twins were.

Lucas and Scarlett looked at him, looked at each other, and LAUGHED and LAUGHED.

It was delicious, and I will do a goal check tomorrow!
Happy New Year!
