Yearly Homemade Ornaments

Enjoy Nature's Gifts
Spending and enjoying the outdoors as much as possible.
Trying to not be "plugged in" as much.

So, we have done really well on this goal and we wanted our ornaments to remind us of how hard we worked. We hiked and grabbed some birch bark, and went to town.

I wanted them to look as kid made as possible

Then, we started to etch them.

Bridget's chin is so deep!!!

They were really fun to make, and look SO good on my tree next to the other handmade ornaments from years past.

Perfect for FHE. Perfect "heirlooms" for their own trees when they leave me and have their own trees to decorate.

Polar Express!

Our Ward's Christmas Party was this morning.

Polar Express was the theme. It was fun! The kids had fun!

Hot Chocolate, Jammies, and Activities with friends!

And a Robert!

The kids had fun, and that is all that matters.
:)

Christmas Pictures

I have sent off the Christmas Cards and now its time to post pictures.

I took these pictures in October because I wanted green leaves and green grass.

I also wanted warmer weather. :)

 So, here they are!

I think they turned out pretty cute.

It was nice to be in control of everything.
I took 4 other families pictures this year just for fun.

I have always liked taking pictures, but when it is of my kids or my family, it seems to be easier.
Haha. Less pressure, I guess.

Golden Party

Everything we did was Gold Themed.

That is a Tiramisu Roll...gotta stick to the "gold"

I snuck a pic during prayer. My Itty Bitty Wittes lick their wrists to keep quiet.

Mason got to pick his favorite meal. What did he pick? Crackers and Meat. So, basically lunchables.
The kids thought that was AWESOME!

We toasted...

Well until we decided pouring it into our laps was cooler.

Then it was present time!

Cars, Cars, and more cars. Unfortunately, the one we picked scared him...

More like terrified him.

So we quickly moved on to other things...

A friend of mine got rid of ALL her Thomas Trains. Mason got them for his birthday!

Which everyone thought was pretty neat.

 Then we had cake.

Then we popped our party poppers!

After that we cleaned up, set up the tracks on the table and turned off the lights.

It was a fun day for Mr. Mason!

My new 2 year old!
