In kindergarten, every kid is responsible for filling a lunch sack with things that start with a particular letter.  Lucas's class only has 13 or 14 kids in it, which means he should be able to fill the bag twice.  He has waited ever so patiently for his turn.  Every week 1 - 2 students get to fill the bag and show and tell what's inside.  All of his friends have gone once and he would always check his homework folder for the coveted white lunch sack.

Friday was the day! He finally got the sack, and his letter assignment.  I was hoping for L, he was hoping for F, we were both happy when he got W.

He couldn't wait to fill it.

He made a list of things he wanted to fill the bag with, then over the weekend we stewed over what else we could stuff into that sack.  There is no limit, but he wanted more than 10 so we agreed on 17...
