Rockies Game!

I asked Lucas what he really wanted for his birthday, and he said to go to a Rockies game with Robert.

No party, no presents, just a baseball game.

So, on Tuesday Lucas was able to go to a Rockies Game with his good friend, Robert.

This was Lucas's first time and Nathan's too!

I would have gone, but Bridget had a Drama Camp Performance.

The whole evening was a complete surprise to Lucas. He didn't even know that Robert was in on the secret.

Robert's birthday present to Lucas was a Rockies shirt (seen below)

He was SO EXCITED!

 This was their first set of seats.

They had Nachos and Hot Dogs for dinner and had a pretty great time.

 Then my super awesome friend Hilary texted me that she was at the game too and was about to leave. She asked if the boys wanted to move down.. She is so nice! Lucas got 2 perspectives of the game!

Since I couldn't go, we asked Grandpa Witte if he could come, and he did!

The kids had fun, and Lucas is STILL talking about the game today!

Not only did they win, but they won this series. Lucas must be a good luck charm! Hehehe.
