Some of the kids took the costumes a little too literal.
The kids school had a HUGE school party.
The girls wanted to wear "girl" costumes so, they wore different things to school.
The whole school staff was dressed in Wizard of Oz.
Scarlett's tall teacher was Glinda.
Bridget's teacher was part of the rainbow for the rainbow song.
Lucas's teacher was the yellow brick road. HAHAHAHA
Each class has 2 room mothers (another new to me concept) and
each class had a party with 8 games a piece.
Lucas's class was the most creative (in my opinion)
This is another teacher Lucas has. He is the AR/AM teacher. He is the one who picked the Hobbit for the boys to read. All of the kids in the AR group love this teacher.
He had ruby slippers hanging down his back.
This is Lucas's new friend, Cole. He is in AR/AM with him, and in our ward.
Some teacher at church asked me if Lucas knew Cole yet because they are very similar.
Legos, Rockies, Obedient, and too many sisters.
So far, they have hit it off great! Lucas gets off the bus with Cole on Tuesdays and they play until dinner time. It is so fun for both of them. Oh! And Cole is exactly 1 month older than Lucas.
I was able to go all day since Nathan is home full time, for now.
The littles napped, and I didn't have anyone hanging on me.
Each class had snacks and crafts. It was quite impressive.
We came home, had bones and blood for dinner, and then headed out to trick or treat. Our neighborhood decided to go out at 5pm so all the kids walked in the dusklight.
I don't think I have said it enough. We LOVE it here!
