Day One in Arizona

We are having a great time in Phoenix with Auntie Liz and Uncle Cory.

Auntie Liz made breakfast with the girls...
Then Liz and I headed out to shop for food and Cory took the kids longboarding and to the park...
He made sure EVERYONE had a helmet...he is cool like that.
By this time it was only 101 degrees. :)
Then they came home and played on the Kinnect. Nathan had the best time I think.
The kids also did some serious excercising...

 Juliet just watched and drooled.
We had lunch and took naps. The kids took 3+ hour naps. After nap Liz and Cory took us to this little place to go swimming. Honestly - how could they think we would like this...

This is their NEIGHBORHOOD pool. Not to shabby huh?
 Juliet approved.

Scarlett and Cory were buddies the whole time and Lucas and Bridget were all over the place - jumping and swimming and playing. It was awesome.

My favorite thing about this pool is that they had umbrellas in the water so you could sit in the 112 degree heat (which it was when we got there) and still enjoy the pool without your skin melting right off.

There was a lap pool, a diving area, and a kiddie pool along with the oasis we were in most of the time.
Then Susie Homemaker - Liz made this Chicken Enchilada Ring that was DELICIOUS. Mmm, I wish there was some still left!

After dinner it started to cool down - (90 degreesish) so Cory took the kids out to play some more.
It was a fun day and I am wiped out. It is fun to relax in the air conditioned house, chat with cool people and know that the kids are charging their family time battery each and every day.
