One thing Lucas wanted to make sure he could do before school started was tie his shoes.
By himself.
And double knot.
We taught him 2 days before school started, and now he can even triple knot!
I guess he is the only one in his class who can tie shoes, because he has become the official shoe tier.
Before they go outside, Lucas checks the line for untied shoes. Haha.
Shoe tying has become this rite of passage into being a real big kid.
*sniff*
It is all happening so fast!
