It was a beautiful night, filled with the smell of BBQ and a little breeze so we took dinner on the road and went to our park.
The kids were so happy to be running in the mud and catching frisbees with their dad that they were totally uninterested in eating dinner.
The kids were laughing and yelling to their hearts content and Nathan was happy to relieve some stress.
I sat back and read a book and enjoyed the outside air.
We reconviened for dinner at 6:30 and the took a few bites and were all over the playground.
Can you believe the sun shining this strong so late? It was a freak of nature because it has been getting dark around 6:45, but we soaked it all in and came home for some Apple Crisp! Mmmm.
I love that we keep having these great unplanned nights.
