Nathan took the day off so we could have a fun day in Downtown City!
Yay!
Why? Because today is Colorado day!
Which meant FREE day at Colorado History Museum.
We were just there for Ben and Danielle's wedding, but this time it was more fun because we were in regular clothes, AND because they had a super fun exhibit that ended today...Lego-rado! (Colorado)
Warning, lots of pictures.
Lucas took quite a few of these. He really wanted to have lots of pictures of this and since this is our family blog, he gets to have a say what's on it. :)
The Capitol Building
They set it up in 4 sections. Old Town, Contemporary, Future, and Geological - Colorado.
Then the kids went to the build your own area.
It was really hard to leave this room.
It was awesome.
They had 2 search and find pages for the kids. On one of them was Waldo. Hahahaha.
There were 3 moving trains.lightrails and loads to see.
After being in this room for an hour plus, we went on.
The kids went skiing. There was snow and wind. Look at Nathan in this picture. Hahaha.
They investigated the insides of animals...
My favorite part was the mining.
This was a video behind the wall. Scarlett kept yelling back at him
"I don't know what you are saying to me!"
I was laughing so hard.
The kids had a great time and lovely Juliet reminded us how "fun" it is to go places with an 18 month old. LOL
The kids worked their rotations in the general store, and had so much fun figuring out the mercantile.
We left at 1, and took the bus to the next destination.
We love the free mall ride.
Some more than others
No one as much as Juliet:
We made it to Chili's. Today was kids eat free day!
Then we showed the kids the underground bus station.
We hit Sams and Walmart and then came home.
We even go to have Hampson Apples!
We watched a movie together and when I looked over I saw this...
He is HUGE!
It was a super fun day and we were able to check off more list items.
Summer is almost over! AAAAH!!!

Mason missed out on some southwestern eggrolls!
Then we hit the bus again and headed to the Tattered Cover.
