Witte Reception

Ben and Danielle's wedding continued at the Colorado History Museum. It is brand new and they rented the entire museum for the reception! The kids were free to roam and see the museum's attractions without interruption!

The best part? It was air conditioned!
Hahaha, Just Joking. :)

It was a little weird seeing so many people dressed up, walking around a museum.
The first floor is completely dedicated to kids. Including a play area with a twisty slide and a car to climb in!

These two were little back seat drivers. Hehehehe.
 The kids loved this!

While we were hanging at the museum, Ben and Danielle and the wedding party were en route to the museum in these rickshaws.

We were enjoying the appetizers and then grabbed our table and entered the "eating room" - as Lucas called it. :)
We (my itty bitty wittes) are a large party, so we had our own table.
It worked out, because the well oiled machine Nathan and I are, used the "extra space" to set up the play room. We brought the stroller, the pack and play and the kids loved having a place to go.

Lots of people could come by and admire the kids, and many people grabbed them and played with them whenever they wanted. It was perfect.
Juliet didn't need a fancy introduction. She spent a lot of her night dancing to the music.
They had a big huge balcony, so the kids enjoyed that too.
Here is Juliet (16 months) and Aerith (2) playing outside. Aerith is Nathan's cousin David's daughter.
David and I have known each other for a long time! I used to play with his sister Renee when I was in middle school! *small world*
After the toasts, the first dance and the daddy daughter dance...they invited everyone to join them on the dance floor. Lucas ran over to Jared and Erin and pulled her over to the floor.
He promised her the first dance and wanted to honor that. :)
Can I just say that my kids are EXCELLENT dancers.
They spent the rest of the night, getting down!
Nathan loves dancing with his daughters.
Mason with his favorite dance partner, Auntie Erin!
The Witte's love to dance. Here is Auntie Liz and Lucas.
 Jules and Uncle Alex.
Uncle Ben and Bridget
 Uncle Jared and Scarlett
Scarlett airing out with Auntie Liz.
Bridget danced with all sorts of people. This is Danielle's uncle.
Anyone that would dance with her was fair game.
She absolutely loves to boogie.
 Lucas and Auntie Danielle
 Bridget and Uncle Cory
Nathan and I enjoying the sunset on the terrace
 Bridget and Great Aunt Donna!
All the kids had a great time with the family. Chris better get married fast when he gets home from his mission next year! Hehehe
My kids need another reason to par-tay!
I tried to get Noah and Elijah and Sydney to dance, but they were not having it.
Sydney eventually caved in.
Then it was cake time, and then we threw jammies on the girls and snagged a piece of cake to go and headed home. We didn't get home until after 11pm.

I did let the kids have their cake for breakfast today. They thought that was awesome!
I love that I married into a big family. It seems like every year I get a new sister or niece or nephew. Its awesome!
Happy Wedding Day Danielle and Ben!
I hope you will feel as lucky as I do to be married to a Witte. :thumps up:
