Opposite from yesterday...Not a "good day"

I had my 33/34 week appointment today.

I am measuring 6 weeks bigger than I am supposed to. Which means I am measuring 40 weeks today.

I have lost 34 pounds this pregnancy. I need to be on special medication that treats hypothyroidism because my new OB doesn't know that this is typical for me.

I had an ultrasound today.  The baby's left leg is stuck on the side of my pubic bone making it next to impossible for it to turn which means...it is breech.

I now have to have a procedure done to fix its leg and pray that it doesn't come out bowlegged because of this.

I knew it was head up because I can see its head coming out right under my rib cage. I look lopsided without any clothes on.

I get to go to a chiropractor to see if they can move it.  Baby is measuring big as well.

They moved my due date up 8 days!

The next appointment is scheduled for the 20th, after I have taken the medication and seen the 3 specialists I need to see in order to find out if I get a VBAC or C/S.

I am not mad, just flustered and anxious.

In other news, the baby looks pretty cute, and everything else looks fantastic.  I feel amazing and think that this might be the weirdest pregnancy I have ever had. No real complications the OB said just a fluke of positioning.

There, I have gotten that off my chest. I feel a lot better now.

  1. Ahh, I see your frustration. Well, baby is 8 days sooner, at least, right? Keep smiling. You will be holding that precious baby soon!

  2. DANG GIRL!!! Sorry to hear things are not going as planned. I know how you had your heart set on a VBAC. i will pray that the chiropractor can work miracles. Lets just start thinking about all the cute girl things we can make, and then you'll be excited for her to get here no matter what day it is, or how she comes into this world.
