Check UP!

I absolutely love going to the doctor. (insert sarcasm)

There is always a wait, there is always some hold up, it just seems to suck the time out of the day.
Until today.

Apparently, the Witte's were part of the weekly meeting.

When I walked in today for 3 kids check ups, there were 2 nurses waiting for me.
Nurse Stella called back to tell Dr. Campbell that we were here.
Nurse TJ (a guy) brought us back and told me they had run through this new system for multiple children.

We were the guinea pigs for this "new way" of appointments.
TJ came in to do measurements.
Stella had us undress the kids for weight checks.
TJ did the development evals.
Stella did the ?/concerns for Dr. Campbell.

In 14 minutes all 3 kids were ready for Dr. Campbell.
Dr. Campell had a stopwatch to time how long her check up took for each kid.
*she wasn't racing, just testing*

We talked about concerns, she checked Scarlett, Juliet, and Mason.
Then she talked to me about a few things, and then it was time to dress the kids for shots.
Did I mention, each kid needed shots?
Well, they did!

TJ came in to talk to Scarlett, while Stella did Juliet's 1year shots.
TJ then played with Juliet, while Stella gave Scarlett got one shot. (to catch up)
TJ then walked Scarlett and Juliet out to get popsicles, (for getting their shots) while Mason needed the RSV shot. Which I am very glad of, because, when Mason got the $1300 RSV shot he freaked out and stopped breathing! So much so - that Dr. Campbell came in to check him again. Then we had to do a lovely oxygen test before he could leave. He was so upset, that we cancelled PT today. Haha.

The kids did pretty well and we were only there an hour and fifteen minutes.

I am glad that our office is willing to see the patient/parent side of the care, and not want to have to wait 10 or more minutes in the waiting room or exam room. It was a great experience!

Now, on to the good stuff.

My BIG BOY is 11.9 pounds! That is 90th percentile for "adjusted" and "age" about the 12th percentile.
We will take it! At least he made it on the age scale! He is doing great and we witnessed a real smile! Horray!

Juliet, the cow is 28 pounds, 32 inches. She also hasn't been herself the past week and now we know why.
We were so focused on the top 4 teeth that she cut 2 on the bottom without us even noticing!
In a week or so she will have cut all 6 (4 on top and 2 on bottom) making her ahead of everyone else at this age with 8 teeth!

Scarlett, our skinny string bean is 36 pounds 37 inches.
(Bridget is only 41 inches)
She also impressed Dr. Campbell by spelling out her whole name!
"S-C-A-R-L-E-T-T-M-reee-W-I-T-T-E...Scarley Mree Witteeee"

After naps, Juju and Mason were being so cute. She really does love him.
I am so glad they have each other! Haha.

This one is just silly (below)

It could have been a hard day.
But, luckily it wasn't.
Nathan on the other hand, did have a hard day and requested ice cream after dinner.
That should do the trick! ;)
