Utah Day 2

Today was the hang out day.

It literally started out with a BANG though - because Scarlett and Grandpa Witte were making breakfast and Lucas asked for a Hard Boiled Egg (his fav) and Grandpa microwaved it to warm it up and when Lucas bit into it the whole thing exploded into his eye.

It scared him more than anything and after a while he could laugh at it but it shook him for sure. :)
Scarlett and Grandpa Witte made Omlets for the Witte Crew. They were made to order and delicious!
We went to the outlets to pick up a few items and then came home to rest.

Nathan took the kids up the mountain for the rehearsal. They got to ride the chair lift up.
 They liked this a lot.

They grabbed their sleds and then headed to the rehearsal location...
This is how the Bride will walk down...isn't it so pretty?
After the rehearsal the kids went down the Alpine slide.

Lucas went all by himself.

Bridget went with Uncle Jared and I was sitting at the base and he forgot to stop and when they hit the stopping point Bridget flew off Jared's Lap! I thought she would have been scared but what do I know - that chick was laughing and giggling and begged to go again.

Scarlett went with Nikki, Auntie Erin's friend and they went nice and slow.

After the rehearsal we headed up to the Cabin. Erin's family owns a cabin deep in the woods.
We went there for dinner.
And of course s'mores...
The kids got to see 2 moose up close and personal. Like so close you could pet them!
I was inside the whole time but the kids were out in the rain, by the fire pit having a ball.
The cousins came and of course that added to the fun.

As soon as we pulled out the kids were ASLEEP.

It is so nice being with family. I wish we didn't all live so far away from each other.
